World Sickle Cell Awareness Day 2026 is dedicated to raising awareness about sickle cell disease and supporting those affected.

In celebration of Juneteenth, The Sickle Cell Foundation of Tennessee, in partnership with the American Red Cross and Pfizer, invites you to our Juneteenth Blood Drive. Blood donations are critical in the Black and Latino communities, especially for individuals with sickle cell disease, who often need closely matched blood types. By donating, you help save

The National Civil Rights Museum and Vitalant are hosting a community blood drive, and The Sickle Cell Foundation of Tennessee will be onsite sharing resources, support, and information for families and warriors. Donors will receive a Summer Lifesaver Tee and a $15 gift card as a thank‑you for showing up for the community.
