In memory of Mark Walden, former chief meteorologist at ABC24 in Memphis and an inspiring figure both for his work and his courageous battle with sickle cell disease, the Sickle Cell Foundation of Tennessee hosts an annual walk/run to honor his legacy. This event raises awareness and provides vital support for individuals and families affected by Sickle Cell Disease.
