The Seven Pearls Foundation Inc., a 501 (C)3 entity of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and a proponent of developing strategic partnerships to enrich the lives of local communities; will host the Gospel Soul Extravaganza: Southern Style Weekend, July 14-16, 2017 at the historic Guest House at Graceland in Memphis, TN. A welcome reception and gospel concert will be featured on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. The cost is $55.00. Workshops on Sickle Cell Awareness and Heart Health are scheduled for Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. These health information sessions are free and open to the community. An optional Heritage Tour is also available beginning at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are $40.00 for adults and $32.00 for children.

Foundation President Sandra Hunt states, “The mission of the Foundation’s board is to walk circumspectly while focusing on concerns that impact society educationally, economically and civically; and networking with other organizations and corporations throughout the nation to render service.  Our primary quest is to conduct forums and workshops that provide those requisite skills and knowledge that will educate our communities on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle”.

The day’s events will conclude with the Gospel Soul Extravaganza: Southern Style Gala at 7:00 p.m. The cost is $85.00. The weekend package for both the Friday reception and Saturday Gala is $130.00. Tickets for the Welcome Reception and/or Gala may be purchased at Proceeds from the weekend event will be utilized to support the foundation’s Sickle Cell Awareness and Heart Health programs.
